As one of South Africa’s largest railway museums, the Transnet Transport Museum boasts an impressive collection of exhibits spanning across various modes of transportation, from ox-wagons to classic automotive vehicles, and vintage steam locomotives.

Visitors to the museum can explore meticulously restored steam trains that once traversed the country's rugged landscapes. Including, the Emil Kessler locomotive which hauled the first train in the then Transvaal (Gauteng) in 1890. The White Train of which coach 51 was used by the British Royal family during their tour of South Africa in 1947; and coach 49, that was used during the Victoria Falls Conference in 1975.
